Supply Chain Due Diligence Act
(SCDDA – Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, LkSG)
From January 1, 2024, companies of all legal forms with headquarters in Germany and a workforce of 1,000 employees or more will be subject to the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (SCDDA, in German: Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, LkSG).
Against the background of our values, we are committed to complying with the SCDDA and the associated due diligence obligations in the area of human rights and environ-ment-related risks. Our SCDDA risk management system aims to minimize risks both in our own business operations and in our supply chain. You can find more details on this in our Policy Statement in accordance with Section 3 (1) no. 4.
In the event that you wish to notify us of possible violations of the SCDDA in our own business area or in our supply chains, you can contact us over various channels:
Complaints procedure according to Section 8 SCDDA
Regardless of which contact channel you prefer, ideally the following information should be provided:
- Your full first and last name
- Your preferred contact channel (e.g. for any queries)
- The description of a possible violation of human rights or environmental law relevant to the SCDDA, i.e. the underlying action; if applicable, stating the stand-ards or guidelines that may have been violated
- Name of the party responsible (Volksbank Kraichgau eG or one of our suppliers)
Explanation of the disadvantages or risks you perceive to be associated with the violation - Name(s) of other affected persons
- Your expectation of us regarding the clarification of the matter and the derivation of any measures to be taken
Your details will of course be treated in confidence and in accordance with data protection regulations.
